One of Australia’s biggest names in music is coming to Townsville, as part of a national tour.
Aria award-winning singer, songwriter and The Voice coach Delta Goodrem is hitting the road for her first national in four years, Bridge Over Troubled Dreams.
The tour takes its name from her latest tracks Keep Climbing and Let It Rain, a charity single written in response to the bushfire tragedy, and other well known songs from her back catalogue.
The pop princess will grace the stage in Townsville on April 29 at the Townsville Entertainment Centre.
Delta said the national tour was an opportunity to share the “magic” of live music at a time people needed something positive to look forward to.
“Visually, I love to make sure a tour represents the energy of what this new album embodies,” she said.
“There are going to be incredible musical moments in bringing to life the surprise elements of this new album and all of the favourites from my previous records.
“I know many people are going through challenging times right now (but) come next year I want to invigorate and empower everybody in the room to have the best night of their lives and we’ll sing and dance through it all.”
