Deeragun fire: QFD report blaze in vacant Woolcock St residential property

The Queensland Police Service will investigate a fire at a vacant residential dwelling after declaring a crime scene.

At 9.37am this morning, the Queensland Fire Department were called to the Woolcock St, Deeragun address following reports of a blaze.

A QFD spokeswoman said crews were on scene by 9.45am. It was under control by about 10am.

A QPS spokeswoman said a crime scene had now been declared and the site was being guarded by officers until it cools down.

Then, police and fire investigation would complete an examination of the scene.
