Crashes block two major Townsville intersections

Two crashes are blocking traffic at a number of intersections. Paramedics are treating a number of patients.

Two crashes are blocking traffic at a number of intersections.

Emergency services have been called to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Stuart Dr and Racecourse Rd, Wulguru shortly after 2.15pm.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said traffic was blocked on Stuart Dr.

Paramedics transported two patients to Townsville University Hospital in stable condition.

Police, paramedics and firefighters were also called to another two vehicle crash in Kirwan.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Dalrymple Rd and Kern Brothers Dr about the same time.

One patient was taken to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition following the Kirwan crash.
