The nation’s best professional bull riders will be down to the wire in a fierce battle for this year’s PBR Australia title at Townsville Entertainment Centre.
The 2020 season was barely kicking before COVID-19 restrictions meant the sport was shut down in mid-March.
After a 203 day hiatus, bull riders were back up and bucking with little time left on the clock to seal their spot in the PBR Grand Finals to be held in Townsville in a two day bumper battle from November 20-21.

Ayr bullrider Budd Williamson joined Townsville Mayor Jenny Hill, and PBR Australia general manager Glen Young at The Ville yesterday to officially launch the grand finals with tickets going on sale today.
Mr Young said organisers had worked “relentlessly” to ensure a COVID-safe championship final at the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre.
“It’s a venue known for its unparalleled, up-close experience that has been the home to many of the nation’s most historic rides,” he said.
Cr Hill said the event would provide a welcome economic boost.
