A car has smashed over a pole on a busy Townsville road, blocking traffic.
Emergency services are at the scene of the single vehicle crash on the Ring Rd, Douglas.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said a pole was blocking the southbound lanes.
Ergon crews have also been called.
It is understood three patients have suffered minor injuries.
Traffic is expected to start clearing soon.
