Emergency crews have rushed a teenager to hospital overnight after reportedly being bitten by a dog.

The incident occurred at a location off Falcon Crescent in Condon at 1.17am this morning.

A spokeswoman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said the 16-year-old male arrived at the Townsville University Hospital at 1.35am in a stable condition.

“(He) was bitten by something on the leg,” she said.

“He was walking outside and he was feeling a bit woozy.”

It is unclear what breed of dog was involved in the incident.

The teenager was discharged from the Townsville University Hospital at 6am on Sunday morning.
