TRAFFIC across Sydney has been thrown into chaos after a series of destructive storms brought down trees and wiped out power lines.
The Princes Highway in Rockdale has been closed in both directions after the partial collapse of a building near Bestic Street, while traffic lights are out on Henry Lawson Drive at Padstow Heights, King Georges Road at Hurstville and The Boulevarde at Miranda.
Fallen trees and wires have closed The Horsley Drive between the M7 and Ferrers Road at Wetherill Park, while power outages in Penrith means multiple traffic lights are down.
