Young Marryatville girl transported to hospital with eye injuries after scissor incident
A young girl from Adelaide’s eastern suburbs has been transported to the Women’s and Children’s after being stabbed in the eye.

A young Adelaide girl has been transported to hospital after stabbing herself in the eye with a pair of scissors.
Emergency services were called to a home at Marryatville in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs at 6.20pm on Wednesday night to reports of a stab/gun related incident.
Another call to SA Ambulance Services shortly after at 6.23pm indicated it was an eye related injury.
An SA Ambulance spokeswoman said that a young girl at the home had stabbed herself in the eye with scissors, and that her injuries were non-life threatening.
The Marryatville girl was transported to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital for further medical treatment.
The full extent of the girl’s injuries is currently unknown.
