Two men await their bail fate after a large amount of drugs, cash and luxury vehicles were seized last week.

Giuseppe Elio Troiano, 35, and Brandon Tyler Schulz, 26, were due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday from custody but due to staffing issues it was unable to occur.

Harry Patsouris, for both men, asked the court to order home detention reports for his clients.

A prosecutor said they would be opposed to any form of bail for the men and said they would be requesting a 13-month adjournment to finalise the charges.

Police found 13kg of methamphetamine and 25 litres of 1,4-Butanediol – commonly known as fantasy at Beverley on Friday.

Mr Troiano, of Ashford, and Mr Schulz, of Glenelg North, are charged with manufacturing a controlled drug for sale and two counts of drug trafficking.

Mr Troiano was further charged with resisting arrest.

Serious and Organised Crime Branch officer in charge Detective Superintendent Shane Addison said methamphetamine and fantasy posed a serious risk to the community.

“Serious and Organised Crime Branch are committed to detecting and preventing methamphetamine and other illicit drugs from being sold and identifying and arresting those who are involved in the illicit drug trade, and seizing the profits of those crimes,” he said.

Magistrate Ben Sale ordered the reports and adjourned the men’s application until Friday.

“I’ve had a quick read of the allegations, we’re talking about a very large quantity of at least one drug,” he said.
