Two men and a woman have been charged with serious drug trafficking offences after they were allegedly caught at Adelaide Airport with kilos of meth.
Serious and Organised Crime Branch and Western District investigators made the arrests at the airport on Sunday night after they disembarked a flight from Sydney.
Police allege that hidden in their luggage was about 2.2kg of meth, secreted in bath salt containers.
The trio – a man and a woman aged 32 and 31, from Paralowie, and 34-year-old man from Munno Para West – were arrested and charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug.
They appeared before the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 19 May where they were remanded in custody to face court at a later date.
