St Kilda Boat Club member dies after being pulled from marina
An elderly man has been pulled from the waters of a northern suburbs boat club marina this afternoon.

A well known member of the St Kilda Boat Club has died after being located in the marina.
7NEWS reported the 77-year-old Para Hills man was located in the water near his docked catamaran late on Saturday afternoon by a maintenance officer at the ramp.
The officer brought the man to the boat ramp, where police and ambulance crews worked to revive him.
He sadly died in hospital later that day.
7NEWS reported the man had been a member of the St Kilda Boat club since the 1980s and it’s thought he was working on his vessel today.
South Australian Police detectives attended the Boat Club to investigate the death, but there are no reported witnesses to the death.
SAPOL are preparing a report for the coroner and said the circumstances of the death are not suspicious.
