South Australia areas with highest and lowest rates of people vaccinated against Covid

These are the parts of South Australia lagging behind when it comes to getting vaccinated against Covid-19, and who’s in front.

Residents of Adelaide’s South are leading the fight against Covid-19 and are the most likely to be vaccinated in the state.

More than one in five people (22.8 per cent) aged over 15 in this area have had two doses of Covid-19 vaccine and 46.1 per cent have had at least one dose.

The area in South Australia with the lowest vaccination rate is Adelaide’s North where just 15.4 per cent of the population have had two shots and only 34.4 per cent have had one dose the first official federal government figures showing vaccination rates by region have revealed.

In the Barossa, Yorke, Mid North region again only 15.4 per cent of the population have had two shots but 38.1 per cent have had one.

Adelaide’s Central and Hills region is a top performer with 22.4 per cent of people aged over 15 having had two shots and 45.5 per cent one jab.

In the South East 17.1 per cent of people have had two shots and 38.4 per cent at least one.

Resident of Adelaide’s West need to go out and get vaccinated with just 16.7 per cent of people having had two shots and only 35.9 per cent one.

In the state’s Outback region 16.9 per cent of people aged over 15 have had two jabs and 35.8 per cent one.
