Person in balaclava caught on CCTV breaking into Tanunda business

Police are hunting for a thief wearing a balaclava and black clothing who broke into several businesses in a Barossa Valley town over the weekend.

Police are investigating a series of mysterious break-ins in the Barossa over the weekend.

Between 8pm Saturday and 6am Sunday, an unknown person broke into several businesses on Murray St and Basedow Rd in Tanunda.

CCTV footage shows the suspect wearing a black balaclava and coat slinking through one of the business while holding what appears to be a green bag.

Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify the suspect.

Anyone who recognises the person in the footage, or who may have CCTV footage to assist in the investigation is asked to contact police.
