In what has to be double trouble for anyone trying to stick to a beauty budget, MECCA is about to open a two-storey flagship store at Burnside Village.
Spanning more than 950sq m it will be more than three times the size of MECCA’s previous offerings at Burnside – the MECCA Maxima and MECCA Cosmetica stores – combined.
Due to open on May 29, the two-storey flagship store will have “semi-private skin treatment beds for elevated skincare services”, an interactive “Carousel Playbar” and “Beauty Lab” where customers will be able to “learn, play, and experiment with the finest global beauty innovations”.
Beauty brands stocked will include Element Eight, Reome, Tower 28, Smashbox, Half Magic, Stila, YSL, Kerastase, Arkive, Sam McKnight, Spray Aus, Margaret Dabbs, Osea, Necessaire, Murdock, Act & Acre, La Bonne Brosse, Fig 1, Cultured, Youth to the People, Element Eight, Reome, Goldfaden, Lancome, Dr Barbara Sturm, Omorovicza, Patchology, Loops, Flamingo Estate, Le Labo, Jo Malone, Perfumer H, DedCool, Tsu Lang Yor, DS & Durga, Maison Crivelli, and The Maker and more.
On opening day the first 100 customers through the doors to make a purchase will receive a complimentary full-sized product, while those spending $85 or more on opening weekend will receive a MECCA tote bag, designed for Burnside Village.

The Advertiser can reveal it will have more than 1500 free car parks and new formal and casual restaurants.
Among the new Burnside Village retailers already revealed are luxury furniture and design brand, UNIQLO Coco Republic, JB Hi-Fi, Aje, Nude Lucy, LSKD, Stylerunner, French cookware brand Le Creuset, Seafolly, Danish leather goods retailer ECCO, Kivari and Elka Collective.
