Video has emerged of a wild suburban brawl that left a man with serious head injuries on a quiet South Plympton street.
Footage obtained by 7NEWS shows a man walking down Laurence St when a car suddenly swerves into his path, cutting him off.
A woman is seen approaching the man, who police say was unknown to them, and grabbing and pulling at him.
Meanwhile, a man driving the car reverses out of a driveway, parks in the middle of the road and runs over to join the fracas.
Punches appear to be thrown before the two alleged attackers run back to their car.
The alleged victim follows them and a further scuffle follows.
Police say the alleged victim, 44, was taken to hospital where he remains with serious but non-life threatening head and facial injuries
Inquiries led police to arrest a South Plympton man, 26, on Thursday night and charge him with aggravated assault causing harm. He was expected to appear in court on Friday.
A South Plympton woman, 26, was arrested on Friday morning and also charged with aggravated assault causing harm.
She was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
