Spate of smash-and-grab thefts in Adelaide
A spate of destructive break-ins in the northern and southern suburbs have put businesses on edge, as police investigate if two were targeted by the same suspects.

Adelaide businesses across the city have been targeted by smash and grab thieves, with police investigating if two of the robberies are linked.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, thieves broke in to a barber shop in the northern suburbs.
Two offenders gained entry to the Hampsead Road business at Clearview by smashing a hole in the glass door before stealing property.
Crime scene investigators attended the scene.
Police are investigating if the break-in is linked to recent similar crimes.

Around 4am on Wednesday morning, police were called to a supermarket on Goodwood Road near Ormond Ave, to reports two men had smashed their way into the building and stole cigarette lighters.
The two men fled the scene in a silver vehicle.
The first suspect is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, slim build and was wearing a black Kathmandu jacket, dark-coloured Adidas pants and black Nike shoes.
The second suspect has a solid build and was wearing a red hooded jumper and a dark-coloured vest and pants with black Nike shoes.
Police urge anyone with information that may assist the investigations are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Police are also on the hunt for a group of thieves captured on CCTV breaking into a clothing store at Hyde Park.
About 5.20am Thursday, police allege a group of five males used a brick to smash through the window of Denim + Cloth on King William Road at Hyde Park.
Items of clothing were stolen from inside the shop, before the suspects got into a stolen silver Volvo station wagon, with South Australian registration plates XA312L.
Officers spotted the car about 20 minutes later on Glynburn Road and pursued it through the northeastern suburbs, losing sight of the vehicle on Maryvale Road in Athelstone.
Anyone who sees the vehicle or witnessed the break-in is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
