Charges Laid Over COVID Rent Scheme 24/03/22

Three real estate agents are among six people charged over a scheme in which they allegedly used names of unsuspecting members of the public to pocket hundreds of thousands of dollars in Covid rent relief payments for homes they were actually using as drug labs.

Lecturers at the University of Sydney have been banned from sleeping with their students, while other ­universities have maintained the rights of professors to have sex with the young adults they teach —  just as long as they jump through the necessary bureaucratic hoops.

Taxi licence owners could get six figure payments to compensate them for the impact of Uber under a proposal being developed by the state government, funded by extending a charge on customers.
