A security officer and man were taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing in the carpark of Walkabout Lodge and Tavern in Nhulunbuy at the weekend.

Emergency services were called out to the location on Westal Street around 12.15am early on Saturday after receiving reports a security officer had allegedly been stabbed with a pair of scissors by a previously banned customer.
