A woman who was found fast asleep behind the wheel of a car parked in the middle of a road north of Brisbane has faced court because of what police discovered when she woke up.

A woman who police found asleep in a car stopped in the middle of a road has been fined for driving the car while unlicensed.
At about 5.20am on Friday, April 2019 police were called to Chermside Rd, Mango Hill where a car was parked with its lights on in the middle of the road.
Police attended the Holden Commodore and found Jessica Catherine Anne Forster asleep behind the wheel.
She was breathe tested but was not affected by alcohol.
Police checks found her licence had been disqualified due to an outstanding debt with the State Penalties and Enforcement Registry
Forster pleaded guilty at Pine Rivers Magistrates Court to driving while her licence was disqualified by SPER.
Forster told the court she did not know at the time her licence had been suspended and she has since entered into a payment plan regarding the debt.
The court heard Forster is also facing burglary charges at a different court.
Forster was fined $450 and disqualified from driving for three months. A conviction was recorded.
