The footage uploaded to TikTik shows three people holding on to a log that has been picked up by a man operating a Sumitomo excavator and swung around in circles.

The excavator operator then moves the log up and down as the people struggle to hold on.

While being shaken up and down, the man sitting at the front of the log can be seen reaching to hold on to the excavator bucket.

The vision has been played over 212,000 times, drawing 10,000 likes and more than 100 comments.

There was a mixed reaction to the dangerous stunt from people commenting on the post.

“This gives Final Destination vibes lol,” one TikTok user posted.

“The safety officer/ HR would lose their mind,” another TikTok user posted.

“What could possibly go wrong here,” a different TikTok user posted.

“Looks like great fun but the second he started moving in the direction of which they would have fell off towards and under the bucket it became very dangerous,” a separate TikTok user posted.

In Queensland, a specific licence is not required to operate an excavator for most tasks.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has been contacted for comment.
