Tom Hanks coronavirus: Channel 9 trio Tracy Grimshaw, David Campbell and Belinda Russell in isolation after movie star’s diagnosis
Channel 9 has taken swift action in response to the news movie star Tom Hanks and his wife have contracted coronavirus, placing three of its biggest stars into isolation after they came into contact with the couple in recent days.

CHANNEL 9 is taking swift action over news Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks have tested positive for coronavirus, with presenters Tracy Grimshaw, David Campbell and Belinda Russell sent into isolation.
Wilson appeared on Today Extra on Monday, interviewed live in their Sydney studios, three days before confirming the positive result.

Anyone in prolonged contact with Wilson, including the show’s co-hosts, will now isolate themselves for 14 days.
Karl Stefanovic will host A Current Affair tonight with Grimshaw sent home on precautionary measures having recently undergone minor surgery.
“Nine today has taken action in line with our crisis response plan around a visit to our studio by Ms Rita Wilson on Monday this week, for an appearance on Today Extra with David Campbell and Belinda Russell,” a Nine spokesperson said.
“Our actions are in line with the guidelines set out by the Government and Health Authorities. Those who were in prolonged contact with Ms Wilson have been tested and are self-isolating for 14 days. Our premises is currently being thoroughly cleaned in all areas she visited and we are encouraging our employees to monitor their health and practise good hygiene.
“Tracy Grimshaw is not hosting ACA tonight as a precautionary measure since she had minor surgery last week. Karl Stefanovic will host in her place. Arrangements for hosts for Today Extra are still being confirmed.”
