PAULINE Hanson has announced there is a light at the end of the tunnel for a southeast Queensland family facing deportation.

The announcement came during the One Nation leader’s forum in Laidley, west of Brisbane, this morning.

More than 100 Pauline Hanson One Nation supporters crowded into a small cafe on the main street to hear from the popular senator.

A number of PHON state candidates also took to the stage before Ms Hanson to call for more support ahead of the looming state election.

State candidate Brad Trussell fired the crowd up announcing the PHON party would “make Queensland great again”.

Then rousing applause erupted as Senator Hanson took to the stage to show her appreciation of the PHON support in Laidley.

“I’m very proud of the support we are gaining in this short period of time,” she announced.

Ms Hanson also told the crowd of her own support for David and Angela Wilson-Stone, along with their daughter Heather, 15.

Senator Hanson said her views on immigration were well known, and she wanted only “worthwhile” people in Australia so she was fighting hard for the Wilson-Stone family to stay.

“All I can say is that things are looking more positive for you then what they were a few days ago,” she said.

“Nothing’s finalised at this stage but with me on your side you’ve got someone fighting for you.”

Mr Wilson-Stone said it was the first he had heard of the good news.

“I wasn’t aware of any good news until just now,” he said. “It’s encouraging though. It’s great to have Pauline (Hanson) supporting us. We’ve been dealing with this for a couple years now.”
