Paramedics have treated swimmers for life threatening injuries at Alexandra Headland
The latest on a man’s condition has been revealed after he was pulled from the water with head injuries at a Sunshine Coast beach.

A man has been discharged from hospital after being pulled from the ocean at a popular Sunshine Coast beach on the weekend.
The man in his 40s suffered significant head injuries while in the water and was briefly submerged at Alexandra Headland on Sunday.
Lifeguards pulled him from the water and administered first aid until emergency services arrived at 11.17am.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man sustained potentially life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
A Sunshine Coast University Hospital spokeswoman said the man had since been discharged.
Emergency services rushed back to the same location at 12.30pm to treat a teenage girl who was also pulled from the water by lifeguards after finding herself in trouble.
She was in a stable condition.
