A motorcyclist in his 20s was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash in Brisbane on Saturday night.
The crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle happened at the intersection of Baroona and Milton Rd, just after 6.30pm.
Paramedics rushed the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s with life-threatening leg and hip injuries to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
A second person was taken to the same hospital in a stable condition.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash, with anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage urged to contact them.
Earlier that afternoon, a teenage boy was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition after coming off his mountain bike at a popular biking trail.
Paramedics were called to a reported mountain biking incident at Gap Creek Rd, Mount Coot-tha, just after 4pm.
The teen was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital with head and chest injuries in a life-threatening condition.
