Logan traffic: One motorcyclist dead, another injured in separate crashes

One motorcyclist was dead and another fighting for life after separate accidents south of Brisbane on Sunday night.

One motorcyclist was dead and another fighting for life after separate accidents south of Brisbane on on Sunday night.

In the most serious incident, a motorcycle collided with a car on Mount Warren Boulevard near Beaudesert-Beenleigh Rd at Beenleigh just before 8pm.

The motorcycle driver, a man in his 50s, was pronounced deceased at the scene while two other patients, believed to be passengers of the car, were transported to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Police closed Mount Warren Boulevard.

It followed a three-vehicle crash on Kingston Rd, Kingston, about 6pm.

The rider of a motorcycle, aged in his 50s, was transported in a critical condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital while the driver of the car was transported in a stable condition to Logan Hospital.

Police closed the road and traffic diversions were in place.

And in Brisbane City, one patient was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition after a motorcycle and car collided at the intersection of Wharf and Ann streets about 7.50pm.
