A Qld Labor MP has taken himself to hospital after his car was destroyed in a two-vehicle crash north of Brisbane last night.

A Queensland MP has rushed himself to a satellite hospital after his car was destroyed in a two-vehicle crash north of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash on Oxley Ave at Georgina St, Woody Point about 7pm on Thursday.
Labor MP for Bancroft Chris Whiting was involved in the crash and was carrying Anzac Day wreaths at the time.
Paramedics assessed two men at the scene but only one needed transport and was taken to Redcliffe Hospital.
Mr Whiting later took to social media to advise people he was OK. The car he was in at the time had Chris Whiting MP signage all over it.
“Thank you everyone for your kind wishes. I seem to not be injured, but I am off to the Kallangur Satellite Hospital to be checked out,” he said.
“I think my car is gone, and the wreaths for Anzac Day are definitely wrecked.
