“I am a strong woman, I don’t sit around feeling sorry for myself, nor will I ever let anyone mistreat me again,” she wrote.

“I don’t respond to people who dictate to me or try to bring me down.

“I am a survivor, not a victim.

“I am in control of my life and there is nothing I can’t achieve.

“My girls will grow up being strong women to understand their worth.”

Hannah left her husband late last year. She and the couple’s three children Aaliyah, 6, Laianah, 4 and Trey, 3, had been living with her parents in Camp Hill while her estranged husband, Rowan, remained in the family home in Carindale.

In the crime that shocked the nation, Rowan torched the family’s car with his three children and wife inside on Wednesday morning, killing them all.

Reports have emerged today about his controlling behaviour and Hannah’s fear that she and the children would come to harm.

Hannah’s Instagram post was shared by a friend before Hannah died from her injuries, with the message: “The world feels a darker place tonight, as I’ve watched my friend’s life descend into tragedy beyond my comprehension.”

“The world has lost three beautiful children, who bought love and light to so many.

“My friend is fighting for her life, and in all honesty, she probably feels it’s not worth fighting for right now.

“To my beautiful friend Hannah, who was trying and fighting so hard to keep her babies safe, we as a collective community have failed you.”
