Holland Park crash: Car smashes into Wyncroft St house

Two occupants of a car are in hospital after the car they were in crashed into a property in Brisbane’s south overnight.

Two people have been removed from a vehicle after it crashed into a Holland Park home overnight.

At around 9.08pm emergency services were called to a property on Wyncroft St after reports of a car crashing into a property.

It is understood the vehicle went down the side lane and was wedged between two properties.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said a car door had to be removed to free a trapped occupant.

Two patients – a female with minor chest injuries and a male with minor hip injuries – were transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
