Facebook page Bad Parking Brisbane gets hilarious response from security company
A bad parking page ousted the haphazard parking of a Brisbane-based company’s car – you’ll never guess their response.

A Brisbane-based security company has provided a hilarious response after a Facebook page outed the haphazard parking of one of its work cars.
Security service Access Alarms was put in the spotlight by Facebook page Bad Parking Brisbane last week after a company car was spotted parked terribly.
Bad Parking Brisbane, which has amassed 27,000 followers on Facebook, is known for posting collections of examples of terrible parking around Brisbane.
The Facebook page posts dozens of photos everyday, sent in by dedicated members of Bad Parking Brisbane.
The Access Alarms company car was spotted by a Brisbane resident, haphazardly parked at Leslie Patrick Park in Arana Hills.
The photo was sent in to the Facebook page and posted six days ago as an inclusion in one of its bad parking collections.
Access Alarms responded days later, posting to the security company’s Facebook page.
“We were privileged to be featured on a Facebook bad parking page today. I see this as a spectacular opportunity to demonstrate a key business focus,” their response read.
“This image alone does not provide sufficient context to understand the full situation or its potential causes.
“It invites speculation and assumptions, potentially overlooking preceding events or legitimate reasons.
“A thorough examination can never be properly carried out without the correct technological solution for the application. Ensure you have the necessary information in your business to accurately evaluate incidents and remove the speculation.
“We are always happy to help you to understand what options are available. In the meantime we’ll try not to leave our vehicles in vicarious positions.”
Four days later, Bad Parking Brisbane followed up with a response to Access Alarms’ post.
“We’re reeeeeally sorry that we speculated and made assumptions on your poor parking without fully understanding the situation Access Alarms,” the Facebook group said.
“A thorough examination of your parking can be carried out using your eyes and other technological solutions in your vehicle.”
Access Alarms CEO Elliott Burgoyne said his response was in jest to the Facebook page’s post and didn’t condone bad parking.
“Obviously I was not trying to defend my bad car park, it was more a bit of banter about the situation,” he said.
“I actually loved Bad Parking Brisbane’s response back, it was hilarious. It has just been a hilarious week.”
