A post COVID-19 property boom has seen record prices and fast turnaround sales on the south coast, with owners looking to cash in on the increased demand.

Nowra property manager Gemma Stamper said values are being driven to record levels due to people’s ability to work from anywhere, and city residents looking for a relaxed lifestyle after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said homes are selling in a matter of hours as property owners look to cash in on the boom and buyers compete for coastal homes in low supply.

New data from property data information service CoreLogic shows the average cost of a home in some south coast towns has jumped to more than $1 million for the first time.

Here is a list of the south coast‘s most expensive towns and suburbs.

1. BERRY
