A pre-teen boy was taken to Townsville Hospital after being bitten by a snake in Ravenswood.

A pre-teen aged male was flown to Townsville University Hospital on Friday night after being bitten by a snake.
Queensland Ambulance reported that the teen was bitten on the ankle at a private residence in Ravenswood and was airlifted to hospital at 7:53pm in a stable condition.
It is unconfirmed what type of snake was involved.
