Question: I was involved in an accident in which I ran into the back of another car. We both lodged claims with our insurance companies but now I have been sued for $10,000 for hire car purposes. Shouldn’t my full insurance have covered this?

Answer: Ordinarily your insurance will cover all losses incurred in the accident. If the matter has been resolved between the insurers it may be too late for the other party to bring further proceedings. You should bring this matter to the attention of your insurer immediately. If they refuse to indemnify you in the matter then we are available to assist.
