Pauline asks: My ex-husband didn’t sign our child’s school enrolment form and now I’m stuck with paying the fees because I signed them. How can I get my ex to pay?

Answer: School fees are generally the subject of agreement between the parties and included in any resolution documents. If your ex is not obliged to pay school fees, or fees for a particular school, and you have unilaterally enrolled the children in school then you may be responsible for the cost. However, each situation must be determined on the particular circumstances.
