Piers Akerman: Witless western acolytes of bestial creed
Lunatic Greens, universities and trade unions are among the Australians being led by this murderous, nihilist cult called Hamas which is hellbent on destroying Israel and its inhabitants, writes Piers Akerman.

In Ancient Greek mythology, the Titan Cronos ate his own children – today the barbaric terrorist regime Hamas is practising the same infanticide on its, and others’, children.
Worse, woke Westerners have joined Islamist fanatics to applaud the barbarous group and celebrate its murderous actions. Globally protesters rant about the civilian casualties in Gaza though Israeli defence forces act legally and warn of their planned attacks on Hamas leaders, weapons caches and command centres.
Hamas violently forces its subjects to remain as human shields ensuring a supply of civilian casualties to present to the world as evidence of Israel’s contempt for human life.
Hamas, which espouses an absolutist Islamist creed, worships death. It hands out sweets when parading its captives and when its own followers are killed. Followers of Hamas, here in Australia among the lunatic Greens, in our universities and some trade unions, are like carnivorous sheep. Bloodthirsty and ignorant, they are willingly led by the nihilist cult.
Hamas has rained more 8,000 missiles indiscriminately on Israel in just the past month, hitting one Israeli hospital at least three times with its Iran-supplied rockets but there has been no outcry. More than 230 hostages seized on October 7 are still hidden in Gaza but representatives from the International Red Cross and the United Nations have made no contact with them. Hamas, like Hezbollah, is a deadly glove puppet of the geriatric Iranian theocracy which wants its fundamentalist Islamist creed to reign globally.
It first wants to destroy Israel, the only liberal democracy in the Middle East and a dynamic intellectual and entrepreneurial powerhouse but after murdering the Jews, it wants to wipe out everyone else who doesn’t believe in Islam. The bilateral agreements between Israel and the UAE, Bahrain and Morocco under the 2020 Abraham Accords and the warming relationship with Saudia Arabia, threatened to thwart Iran’s ambition giving it a renewed resolve to provoke active hostility between Hamas and Israel. Parallel to the hot war, Hamas and its fellow travellers have waged a propaganda campaign which has captured Western media including the ABC, the BBC, and the usual ragbag of clueless Left-wing ratbags.
Nothing exemplifies the lunacy of pro-Palestinian protesters more than the idiots waving Queers for Gaza and the rainbow flags of the LGBTQXYZ+ movement who must be unaware that homosexuals are an anathema to Islamists and are unceremoniously tossed off the roofs of buildings or publicly hanged.
As one wit remarked, it’s as if animals were holding up signs saying “Chooks for KFC” or “Cows for McDonalds”. Hamas is adept at providing false narratives to be lapped up by its ignorant anti-Semitic followers. One of the most egregious lies is Amnesty International’s view that Israel is an apartheid state when it is so easily shown that there are Arab Israelis sitting in the Knesset (the Israeli parliament) and some are or have been ministers, there are Arab Israeli judges, doctors, lawyers and hi-tech entrepreneurs.
The head of the Leumi bank, Israel’s largest, is an Arab Israeli and more than a third of Israel’s pharmacies are operated by Arab Israelis. Hardly apartheid.
Another deceit promoted by Hamas is that some sickness called Islamophobia exists in the West.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, anxious to avoid offending hostile Muslim constituents, accepts this but it is self-evident that the world faces a greater threat from rampant anti-Semitism than anti-Islamic psychosis.
Look at the security Jewish schools, hospitals and synagogues must employ whereas the threat to similar Muslim institutions in Australia is all but non-existent.
The Jewish contribution to global development is well marked by the 214 Nobel prizes won by people of Jewish heritage. That figure represents 22 per cent of all recipients, which is not bad considering just 0.2 per cent of the global population are Jews.
There may be well-meaning people among the pro-Palestine protesters waving Hamas flags, Aboriginal flags and rainbow banners and chanting genocidal threats to Jews but if they want to free Palestine they should not be targeting Israel.
They should be fighting to free Palestine, free Gaza, and protesting to free their citizens from Hamas extreme barbarism.
