A woman has been seriously injured after she was crushed by more than 200 kilograms of glass in a horror accident in Mosman overnight.

A woman has been seriously injured after she was crushed by more than 200 kilograms of glass in a horror accident in Mosman overnight.

Paramedics were called to the 40-year-old’s house on Sirius Cove Road about 7pm following reports seven glass panels – each weighing 30 kilograms – had fallen on the woman’s legs and pinned her down.

It is understood that the woman’s home is currently undergoing renovations.

A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics treated her at the scene before taking her to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

“It looks like the panels fell onto her legs, she has hip and thigh injuries,” the spokeswoman said.

A spokesman from Royal North Shore Hospital said that the 40-year-old woman remains in a stable condition this morning.
