Woman charged with illegally possessing police uniforms after robbery of armoured truck
An aspiring Sydney actress has appeared in court on weapons and drug charges including illegally possessing police uniforms. Police allege the woman is an associate of two men charged over the armed robbery of a cash-in-transit van.
An aspiring Sydney actress has appeared in court on weapons and drug charges including illegally possessing bulletproof vests and uniforms belonging to NSW Police, federal police and corrective services.
A special strike force investigating the armed robbery of a cash-in transit van last April arrested 34-year-old Tiara Cool who police claim is an associate of two men already charged over the daylight robbery.
Soon after the incident police released CCTV footage which showed two guards lying face down on the footpath with their hands above their heads.

During the robbery a gunman wearing a black balaclava walks to the van with a rifle threatening them as he demands they hand over the money.
One of the men then tries to disarm a guard of his pistol unsuccessfully before grabbing the cash bags and returning to a Volkswagen Golf which then takes off at high speed.
Police later arrested two men after raids in western Sydney and seized weapons and cash believed to be linked to the robbery at a shopping centre at Clemton Park in south western Sydney.
Search warrants were also executed at a unit in Wentworth Point on 11 July 2018, where police seized the two prohibited body armour vests, a replica pistol, almost 100g of methylamphetamine (ice), and numerous NSW Police Force, Australia Federal Police, and Corrective Services NSW uniforms.
Detectives continued their investigations after taking possession of the items which led to the arrest of the woman today.
Cool lists herself as an actress, model and dancer on the star-now.com website and says she is available for commercial work. There are no lists of any appearances.
Armed police from the NSW Robbery and Serious Crime squad arrested her at a home in North Rocks early this morning before she was taken to Parramatta police station and charged.
Cool, was granted strict bail by magistrate Tim Keady including reporting to Parramatta police station daily between 8am and 8pm and also had to have a reputable persons enter a $1000 surety.
Cool was not seen at the alleged robbery in Clemton Park and is not charged in connection with the incident.
She is due to reappear at Burwood court on January 30.
