PROPERTY tycoon Ron Medich used a number of choice expletives to describe the way he felt about Michael McGurk — his former business partner who he is accused of murdering because he owed him millions of dollars, the NSW Supreme Court has heard.

Various witnesses have given evidence about Medich making derogatory comments about McGurk including, “Mike’s a c---;” a “F---wit” and “I should have f***** her off [his wife Odetta] like McGurk.”

One witness told police Medich said to him over breakfast, “I’m going to fix him [McGurk], don’t worry he won’t be problems for much longer.”

On Tuesday the Crown closed its case against millionaire property developer with a jury told they should find Medich “guilty beyond all reasonable doubt” and that he was motivated to kill over “millions and millions of dollars” which was owed to him.

Crown Prosecutor Gina O’Rourke SC said Medich asked his friend and right-hand man Lucky Gattellari to organise the murder and asked the jury to consider evidence which showed how close the pair where in that they shared and office, daily lunches and hundreds of phone calls.

“They were joined at the hip, they were very, very close.” Listening to the summary of the Crown case was Medich’s son Peter, his daughter Pamela and his brother Roy.
