Wild brawl erupts at Lidcombe station as horrified morning commuters watch on

HORRIFIED morning commuters watched on as a violent fight erupted between two men at a western Sydney train station, with both of those involved coming dangerously close to falling on to the busy train tracks. WATCH THE FOOTAGE HERE.

HORRIFIED morning commuters watched on as a violent fight erupted between two men at a western Sydney train station just before 9am on Thursday.

Captured on video, the brawl at Lidcombe train station lasted more than two minutes and saw both men come dangerously close to falling on the tracks during the busy commuter period.

One man with blood running down the side of his face can be seen pinning the other to the ground, as a number of travellers watch on in shock.

The footage starts recording with both men on the ground.

Both men return to their feet and trade blows, while witnesses call for the pair to “break it up”.

Two women intervene and pull the pair apart, with one of the bloodied men spitting at the lady who pulled him back.

“You don’t spit at me you f***ing dirty dog,” she says in response.

The men come within inches of falling onto the tracks.

The pair continue to trade blows, with one of the men charging the other toward the edge of the platform.

Just moments before they both fall on the busy tracks, quick-thinking bystanders intervene and pull them back toward safety. There are more calls to “break it up”.

At least 10 commuters manage to separate the duo and hold them back, but the brawlers continue to yell abuse at each other.

One of the man has blood pouring down the side of his face, while the other has a bloody mouth.

One of them turns his attention to the woman he spat at earlier, who grabs a skateboard to threaten the man.

“I will whack this f***ing skateboard straight over ya f***ing head, ya f***ing weak,” she yells.

Bystanders manage to keep the men separated.

However, a secondary video shows the men continuing to fight until a police officer runs in to break up the melee, with both men separated and told to sit on the ground.

NSW Police said officers spoke to those involved and no charges have been laid.
