The Prime Minister was given several opportunities on Wednesday to guarantee there would be no touches to the Stage 3 tax cuts.
Instead Anthony Albanese has left the door open for the legislated policy to change before they begin in July-2024.
When asked on the ABC Mr Albanese repeatedly responded “our position hasn’t changed.”
Stage 3 will streamline the income tax brackets in Australia with workers earning between $45,000 and $200,000 taxed at just 30%.
