A brawl broke out and another 16-year-old — allegedly affiliated with the Greater West gang — is accused of pulling a knife and stabbing a 17-year-old.
The alleged victim from South Granville was rushed to Westmead Hospital with two collapsed lungs, a pierced liver and a slashed artery in his left wrist.
He was in a critical but stable condition on Sunday.
The 16-year-old knocked unconscious was also taken to hospital but later released.

Police arrested four teens over the brawl — aged 16 to 19 — including alleged Greater West gang affiliate Henry Tuiafiso, 19.
