HIGH-end real estate buyers are continuing to snap up Salt properties, with a $1.33 million apartment selling to a Brisbane buyer.
A Balé Peppers Resort apartment sold to a buyer from Brisbane, who plans to use it as a family holiday retreat.
Salt Village Real Estate principal Greg Allan says it is the cashed up, wealthy buyers which are fuelling the Salt Village real estate market.
He said last week’s deal, taken together with others at Salt Village in recent weeks, suggests the market for beachfront property has turned and that “discretionary purchasers” are back in the market.
“It’s encouraging to see buyers back at the top end of the market, and keen to secure beachfront properties,” Mr Allan said.
The north-east-facing apartment is on the second floor and spreads over a single level, with 188sqm of living area and featuring three bedrooms plus study and three bathrooms.
The Balé sale tops off a bumper six-week run for Salt Village Real Estate, with the agency posting six beachside home sales for a combined $9.5 million, together with a luxury Peppers Resort apartment for more than $550,000.
Over the last four years, Salt Village has posted land, house and apartment sales totalling more than $500 million.
On completion, the 73-hectare community is expected to of comprise about 1500 homes, apartments and villas.
