A Queensland man facing historic child sex offence charges has had his matter mentioned in court.
Jason David Brooker, 57, faces two counts of having sexual intercourse with a person under 16-years-old but over 14.
Mr Brooker has not entered any pleas.
It is alleged Mr Brooker had sex with a 15-year-old girl at Coffs Harbour between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009.
A police prosecutor told Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday police wanted to prosecute the matters at an indictable level.
A brief of evidence was ordered for January 24 with the case adjourned to February 7, 2022.
Mr Brooker remains in custody.
