CONSTRUCTION work has just begun on the first new home display centre in Murwillumbah region at Stockland’s Hundred Hills housing estate.

Stockland’s regional manager for the Gold Coast and Northern NSW Col Dutton said yesterday the display centre due to open in April was a major development for the growing Hundred Hills community.

“The community is currently buzzing with activity with several new homes under construction and work continuing on the community’s first major park,” he said.

The display centre is to feature five homes by well-known building firms, Metricon Homes, Perry Homes, Integrity New Homes, Edmed Homes and Austart Homes.

Mr Dutton said the centre would give buyers the chance to experience first-hand the latest in new home designs at a single location.

“There is no better way to get a feel for a community like Hundred Hills than spending some time in the neighbourhood and touring the different housing designs available,” he said.

“These five homes will be packed with innovation and style that is sure to give buyers some great ideas for their next new home.

“From nationally recognised builders such as Metricon Homes, to our own Murwillumbah-based Edmed Homes, this centre will be the new one-stop shop for home buyers in northern NSW,” he said.

Land is currently available in the “Viewpoint” stage of Hundred Hills, with home sites ranging in size from 543-1138sq m and priced from $150,000.

Hundred Hills is Stockland’s first residential community in northern NSW and has become popular with new home buyers looking for a relaxing coastal country change.
