TELEVISION personality Shelley Craft will be the face of a new Tweed Heads gym and indoor sports club, located within the Seagulls club.

Ms Craft, host of Channel Nine’s Australia’s Funniest Home Videos and Domestic Bliss, has been secured to launch Revolution Health and Fitness, set to open in early April.

The $3 million centre will feature cardio and weight gyms, a group fitness centre and an indoor sport complex for futsal, netball and more.

Revolution Group fitness manager Carly Busseler said securing Ms Craft to promote the club was a positive step.

“Shelley positively glows with vitality, she has a great commonsense attitude to good health, and she’s great fun, too, so it’s a nice fit.”

The club stretches over two levels at the Seagulls club on Gollan Dve and includes a cafe and creche.

Ms Craft said she was enthused about the club and having access to child-minding while she exercised.

“Using the gym helps clear my mind so that I’m not thinking about work or chasing after (daughter) Milla – and that’s one of the reasons the child-minding centre at Revolution is definitely going to get a workout,” said Ms Craft.

The indoor sport centre will open in mid-March, and futsal competitions will be managed by the Viking Futsal Association.

Memberships to the fitness club are now open.
