Scary vision has emerged of the moment three men were forced to duck for cover as bullets flew on the streets of Sydney’s south in a suspected organised crime linked shooting.

The trio narrowly avoided being shot when a gunman in an Audi SUV opened fire at them on The Grand Parade about 3pm, before fleeing to nearby Narwee where a getaway car was set alight.

CCTV from a nearby building initially shows four men crossing the street, before one of the group appears to bid them goodbye - leaving the trio standing on the footpath, next to a white hatchback.

Roughly a minute later a black Audi SUV can be seen rounding the corner onto The Grand Parade at speed, from which NSW Police say the shots were fired.

As the shots rang out the three men can be seen scurrying in opposite directions as they try to escape with their lives.

Thankfully no one was injured in the shooting, but three parked cars and a nearby house were all struck by bullets.

Associates of the Alameddine crime clan are believed to have been the targets of an attempted daylight shooting in Sydney’s south-east.

Police and underworld sources said it is believed the men who were shot at had links to the Alameddine crime clan and associate gang KVT, with detectives understood to be looking into if they were lured to the location.

As bullets flew and the men ducked for cover, three cars including a black Mercedes were hit.

Photos from the scene show bullet holes pierced the passenger’s side front windscreen of one car as it sat parked in a street side in the beachside suburb, which has long been a popular haunt for various bikie gangs and organised crime figures.

A short time later, a burnt-out getaway car was reported on Windarra St in Narwee – some 20 minutes away.

In a statement, NSW Police said the men had been standing together when an Audi SUV turned the corner onto The Grand Parade and a man opened fired at them.

“The three men and the Audi left the scene. There have been no reports of injuries. Police located three vehicles with bullet holes and a nearby building also received damage.

“A crime scene has been established and The Boulevarde remains closed between The Grand Parade and Trafalgar St.
