Lisa Stockbridge once said a big “yes” to cocaine but it seems it’s now a firm “no” to plastic bags and non-organic food.

The one-time socialite and publicist, who was jailed after police busted her running a cocaine delivery service to clients in the eastern suburbs, is out of jail and trying her hand at a new trade.

It’s in line with the voguish organic food movement and by the looks of her social media account, Stockbridge has adopted healthy eating as a way of life.

She works as a “health and wellness consultant” and is an “advocate of the pegan diet” as well as being a “meat-eater”, according to her Facebook page.

For the uninitiated, Google tells us this means she adopts “some principles of the paleo diet and veganism and prescribes a plant-based eating style”.

It’s a significant change from Stockbridge’s pre-jail life, when she kept her lifestyle website afloat by selling drugs, which led to a jail sentence of four years and nine months in 2015.

Investigating police installed a pinhole camera in the dash of Stockbridge’s car and filmed evidence of her doing deals.

Stockbridge’s Facebook page also features a large banner image bearing a slogan encouraging people to “say no” to plastic bags, straws and bottles.

So it’s a good thing she’s made a clean break from her past because cocaine users are notorious for single-use plastic baggies.

CON AIR

When you’re locked up in prison 24/7, you’d do anything to break the routine — even fly, handcuffed and flanked by three police officers, across the state to sit in the dock in the wrong court case, it seems.

In a scene that wouldn’t be out of place in the Nicolas Cage epic Con Air, police were on board a flight heading for Armidale Airport on Tuesday morning with a female inmate under their guard.

The inmate was meant to appear in a mediation case in the local court house and had been picked up from a jail earlier that morning.

Heavy cloud cover meant the plane couldn’t land and so it was diverted to Tamworth.

Two officers from Armidale then made the three-hour round trip to the country music capital to collect the inmate.

When the woman entered the courthouse, lawyers realised she wasn’t who they were expecting.

And it was only then that the inmate spoke up and confirmed that, no, she did not have a child.

While she had the same name as the inmate who was meant to front the hearing, she was 10 years too young.

Needless to say, the mix-up didn’t go down well.

TOP PROSECUTOR

The NSW Office of Director of Public Prosecutions has a new senior crown prosecutor in the form of Tanya Smith SC.

Ms Smith temporarily steps into the role that was vacated by barrister Chris Maxwell QC, who will return to the job later this year.
