“Since it appeared on the cover of the January 2024 issue of Australian House and Garden, we have received a number of inquiries to buy.

“I continue to travel extensively for our projects, while Bali remains my design base.”

The fashion designer turned property stylist first bought in Bali in 2004, a year after visiting the ­Indonesian island.

Monkey Palm was his initial project, which became his signature property design showpiece embraced by many of his clients across Bali.

The four-bedroom, plantation-style compound, which had appeared in Vogue Living, was on 1820sq moff a quiet laneway in Seminyak.

Brady marketed Monkey Palm at $975,000 in 2019 when offered with a 22-year lease, with a 10-year extension available.

GREENE SWITCHES FROM INNER WEST TO EASTERN SUBURBS

Greater Western Sydney Giants AFL star Toby Greene has made his move from Sydney’s inner west to the eastern suburbs.

He’s just settled on what will be the family home given the arrival of his first child, daughter Isla, last month with partner Georgia Stirton.

Greene has spent $3.6m on a 1930s semi in Coogee.

It last sold in 2005 for $850,000.

After 54 sales, Coogee median house prices sits at $3.39m, down 6.5 per cent over the past year, according to PropTrack.

The club captain of the 2024 flag favourites is moving from Drummoyne where he sold his two-bedroom Federation semi-detached home for $1.89m, at just $50,000 more than what he’d paid for it in 2020, shortly after he signed what was one of the longest and most lucrative contracts in AFL history. He put pen to paper on a six-year deal worth $800,000 a year. In 2021 he added two more years to that contract, keeping him at the club until at least the end of 2026.

Greene, with 218 games having been an inaugural Giant taken with pick 11 in the 2011 AFL draft from the Oakleigh Chargers, will be located further south than other leaders in the Giants.

Callan Ward has called Bondi home since 2022 when he spent $5m on a Palm Springs-style home.

Former Giant Phil Davis has been based in around Bondi, as has Joel Patfull.

Lachie Whitfield isn’t far in Queens Park being a first homebuyer in 2022, with a striking contemporary home that cost $2,715,000. Greene’s co-captain, Stephen Coniglio, secured his first property in 2022 in Mosman.

WAREHOUSE ON THE MARKET

The Leichhardt warehouse of Tim Rice, the principal of the Adtopia advertising company, has been listed for sale. It has featured in numerous work projects including social media posts by Eva Mendes.

The Albert St space has been scheduled for April 20 auction with $3m guidance from McGrath agent Chris Chung.

It is a two-bedroom, three-bathroom offering with 250 sqm space with courtyard.

HIGH FLYERS’ BYRON SALE

Pioneer aviatrix Gaby Kennard’s Byron Bay beachfront pad has sold for $5.25m.

McGrath’s Will Phillips had initially been guiding $6m.

She sold her three-bedroom garden Lawson St apartment given plans to move closer to family in the nearby hinterland.

Kennard, who became the first Australian woman to fly around the world solo in 1989, bought into beachfront reserve block of nine in 2018, when she paid $3,525,000.

GANGSTER KILLED IN DRIVEWAY

A Guildford home caught up in gangland murders has been sold on its second auction campaign for $1.42m through Hunters Agency & Co.

The initial auction guide was $1.3m for the 689sqm duplex redevelopment site.

Toufik Hamze and his son Salim Hamze were seated in a red ute at the Osgood St rental when shot in 2021.

The younger Hamze died at the scene, while his father later died at Westmead Hospital.
