A teen has been flown to hospital with serious spinal injuries after diving into a shallow ocean pool from Terrigal Boardwalk.
NSW Ambulance told The Sunday Telegraph the teen jumped from the structure into a pool he was “unaware was shallow”.
A CareFlight specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived quickly to the scene and attended to the patient shortly after 3pm on Saturday 4 January, before being flown by helicopter from Terrigal Haven near the Skillion to Royal North Shore hospital.
It was reported the man is in a serious but stable condition.
