Sydney wild weather: Roads closures, train and ferry disruptions
COMMUTERS are facing a difficult trip this morning as Sydney mops up from the monster storm which struck over the weekend. Roads are closed and the rail network is affected by landslips and fallen trees.

THE monster storm which hammered Sydney will see rivers continue to rise over today resulting in a major impact on transport across the city.
Flood warnings are still in place for many rivers in NSW and thousands of homeowners are waiting for help, but heavy rains have eased.
The rivers will rise over the next 10-12 hours leading to major disruptions
ROADS
Glenfield: Canterbury Rd at Fawcett Rd,
Emergency road work affecting traffic in all directions
St Marys: Great Western Hwy at Charles Hackett Dr
Lanes closed in both directions due to dlooding
Milperra: Milperra Rd at Henry Lawson Dr
Road closed in westbound direction due to flooding, two of three lanes closed eastbound
Georges Hall: Henry Lawson Dr between Hume Highway and Milperra Rd,
Road closed in both directions due to flooding
Rivertsone: Garfield Rd between Carnarvon Rd and railway Terrace
Road closed in both directions due to flooding
Blacktown
Various roads blocked around suburb including Rouse Hill Rd, Stoney Creek Rd and cattai Rd
Epping: Epping Rd at Essex St,
A fallen tree is affecting eastbound traffic
Warwick Farm: Hume Highway between Governor Macquarie Dr and Liverpool St
Flooding has closed one westbound lane
Woolloomooloo: Bourke St between Cathedrak St and Harmer St
A fallen tree has closed the road in both directions
Lakema: Punchbowl Rd at Wangee Rd
A burst water main has closed two of three city-bound lanes
TRAINS
The Inner West and South Line is closed from Granville to Cabramatta (that direction only) due to a landslip at Guildford. A limited bus service is in operation. Inner West and South Line trains from the city are diverting via Regents Park
Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time due to urgent track equipment repairs at Gordon.
The Cumberland Line is partially closed between Blacktown and Campbelltown in both directions due to a landslip at Guildford. Passengers travelling from Campbelltown towards Blacktown are advised to change trains at Granville for Western Line train. Passengers travelling from Blacktown to stations between Merrylands and Canley Vale should change at Granville for a limited bus service. Passengers travelling from Blacktown to stations between Cabramatta and Campbelltown should change trains at Lidcombe for an Inner West & South Line train.
FERRIES
The 6.35am ferry between Manly and Circular Quay was replaced by buses with all other services to resume.
Meanwhile the Darling Point Wharf is closed due to a large tree blocking access to the wharf.
Ferries between Palm Beach, Wagstaffe and Ettalong are not operating today while ferries between Bundeena and Cronulla have also been cancelled.
BLACKOUTS
Thousands of homes meanwhile remain without power.
Ausgrid says it has restored power to 18,000 homes with a further 8000 awaiting reconnection while Endeavour Energy said 4000 homes in Western Sydney, the Southern Highlands, Illawarra and the South Coast were still blacked out.
