Petrol prices are tipped to dip in the coming weeks but until your wallet feels some relief, there’s a few places to grab a bargain beforehand.

Those looking to fuel up at their local servo will be happy to hear prices around or below the $2 a litre mark are set to become more widespread in the coming weeks, after crude oil prices dipped sharply last week.

“We’re hoping the trend continues and we see some relief on the bowser,” NRMA spokesman Peter Khoury said.

“With last week’s average, we hope to see it (passed on to customers) by the end of this month.”

Until then, there’s still places to score a cut-price full tank — if you know where to look.
